Diving is a tool and a technique that permits humans access to a fabulous and very different underwater world.  The road to a fulfilling experience of this environment is one of building blocks.  Shallower, warmer sites are reached briefly by using air from open-circuit SCUBA or hose technology.  Longer stays require a mixed gas such as Nitrox. Deeper stays require helium mixtures, colder sites require dry suits, and when the enthusiast wants it all, there is the rebreather, the ideal mix-master.  Each step requires training and time to develop competency.

Owner Gregg Stanton has served Florida State University (FSU) for 25 years as Dive Officer and Department Head of one of the largest university dive programs in the country.  A NAUI instructor for nearly 40 years, Gregg is currently a NAUI Course Director, and a Board of Advisors member for IANTD.
